This film chronicles six years in the life of a woman who decided to change genders. Sue and her lover openly discuss their fears about trying to maintain their relationship during all of Sue's upcoming surgical procedures and hormonal treatments. Segments reveal how Sue reacts to various bodily changes and adjusts to the more masculine body she's longed to inhabit since she was a little girl.
