Mrs. Burton (Charlotte Walker) has two little girls, but she is talked into giving one up to a wealthy couple, Mr. and Mrs. Fairbanks (William Tooker and Wilette Kershaw). When the sisters grow up, unaware of each other's existence, Laura Burton (Anna Lehr) becomes a model for artist Anthony Gerard (Bradley Barker), and Alice Fairbanks (Gertrude McCoy) falls in love with a young engineer, Tom Courtney (Huntley Gordon). But the lives of both young women are disrupted by Roger Hamilton (Robert Cain). He gets involved with Laura and promises to marry her, then turns around and romances Alice and convinces her to marry him. Laura confides in her mother about Hamilton and she rushes to the church to halt the wedding. The two sisters are reunited and they both return to the men they love. This picture was based on the stage play by Harry S. Sheldon.
