Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
Scripted by David Mamet, this made-for-HBO outing dramatizes the brutal life and career of Meyer Lansky (Richard Dreyfuss), one of the key figures in American organized crime. The tale begins with Lansky's youth, when he was just another Jewish immigrant, and chronicles his rise from petty gambler to powerful crime lord.
