Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this fantasy, a water nymph falls in love with a handsome peasant who has forcibly been betrothed to a woman he loathes. Still he is honorable and rejects the nymph's advances causing her to fly into a rage. The Spirit of the Forest feels for the jilted fairy and so punishes the lad by turning him into a wolf. Later the repentant nymph showers her love upon him and he again becomes human. This angers his witchy betrothed who zaps the nymph into a willow tree. She then tries to force her fiancé into chopping down the tree, but before he can, the Forest Fire, who also has a burning passion for the aqueous spirit embraces her and she becomes a glowing fireball.
