Synopsis by Michael Hastings
A young, gay man is forced out of the closet when his mother rents out a room in their house to a hunky border in this romantic comedy. Still living with his conservative, traditional mother and grandmother in their San Francisco home, first-generation Asian-American Daniel (Jay Wong) is aware of his sexuality but unable to act upon his desires. Enter Robert (James Marks), an openly queer Midwesterner seeking a place to live in the city. Once under the same roof, Robert and Daniel begin a clandestine affair, one that forces the latter to put his own happiness ahead of his family's expectations.
