Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Directed, written, and photographed by Antero Alli, Under a Shipwrecked Moon centers around the aftermath of the release of a long-buried family secret. When the rituals of a punk-rocker/shaman lead straight into the dreams of his comatose Finnish grandfather, the young man sees all of his grandfather's memories as if they were actually happening; from first love to a mysterious sorceress, hardly any stone is left unturned. Meanwhile, in the real world, the rest of the family has gathered around the old man's death bed, bringing with them their own stories of true love, strange creatures, and the unsettling depth of familial bonds. The film stars Gabriel Carter, Richard C. Goodman, Felecia Faulkner, Lea Bender, and Clody Cates.
