Two Moon Junction (1988)
by Michael Costello review

Zalman King, veteran purveyor of softcore porn such as the Red Shoe Diaries (1992), has come up with a campy, unintentionally hilarious tale of hot lust in the Deep South. The threadbare plot, which exists only to bring together the two bodacious lovers, concerns the impending marriage of a well-born Southern belle (Sherilyn Fenn), who is having second thoughts about tying the knot with the man her aristocratic family has chosen for her. Not long before the scheduled event, the woman spots an Adonis-like roustabout, played by Richard Tyson, at a local carnival, and the two waste no time in getting horizontal. It's difficult to say whether either of the principals possess any acting skill, since none were necessary for this project, but both admirably fulfill the role of sex object. Although the film was below the radar in terms of box-office, Zalman King returned with a sequel Return to Two Moon Junction in 1994.
