Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The title roles in this Fox production were filled by Jane and Katherine Lee, popular juvenile performers of the period. In the overall scheme of things, however, the impish Jane and Katherine are essentially comedy relief for the melodramatic convolutions of the main storyline. Left in the care of their uncle, Billy Parke (Leslie Austin), the girls wreak all sorts of havoc at a fancy resort hotel. But Jane and Katherine redeem themselves by saving Billy and his sweetheart Betty (Edna Murray) from the machinations of two scurrilous burglars. The basic premise of Two Little Imps would be pressed into duty countless times in the future, most memorably as the 1990 smash hit Home Alone.
