Video director Hideki Takahashi made this surreal, paranoid psychological thriller about one man's fight against a massive and bewildering corporation. Futures trader Matsudo (Jun Murakami) -- who does his business in code in order to maintain the company's security -- is approached by his boss and asked to accept his "recommendation." When Matsudo refuses, he finds himself collapsing in a hallway when his mind is attacked by strange, evil forces. As memories of his wife and boss rush through his head, he is spirited into a waiting car. He comes to in a school lecture hall where a scary foreign police officer (Roger Allen) gives him a series of psychological tests. When he fails the exam, he is subjected to some improvised brain surgery. Later, his treatment grows steadily more painful and much weirder.
