Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
The second of six Buddy Roosevelt Westerns produced by Trem Carr and directed by J.P. McGowan, this film features the rather pedestrian Roosevelt as a sheriff, who unaware of a spy in his court (Tom Bay), chases a gang of outlaws headed by the always nefarious Leon De La Mothe. The gang takes shelter at a ranch belonging to lovely Betty Baker and her father (Lafe McKee). A veteran action star/director, J.P. McGowan also supplied the none too inventive screenplay for Trailin' Back.
