Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Writer/director Christopher Bessette exposes the plight of children exploited by human trafficking in this topical and intense drama starring Dermot Mulroney and Mira Sorvino. Alex (Mulroney) and Claire (Sorvino) were loving parents whose child was taken from them too soon. Years later, Alex is working as a trafficking investigator in Southeast Asia and Claire volunteers counseling young girls who have been rescued from that grim world where children are exploited and prostituted. When human traffickers threaten the young girls in their neighborhood, Alex and Claire fight to expose the depraved criminals who would sell the children to the highest bidder, and ensure that no more innocents suffer the unimaginable pain and indignity of losing their freedom.
