This obscure silent Western, starring the equally obscure Bill Patton, was produced and co-written by African-American character actor Noble Johnson. The unimpressive Patton played Norman Draper, a Texas Ranger helping a friend, Carlson (George Berrell) bury his dead wife. Rancher Marcos Valverde (Fran├žois Dumas) and his daughter Elicia (Beatrice Burnham), meanwhile, are plagued by cattle rustlers and the deputy sheriff (Johnson) arrests Carlson, who had bought a stolen cow from the gang. Draper rescues his friend from a lynching party and unmasks the deputy sheriff as the leader of the gang.
