Town Hall Party was a country music institution from 1952 to 1961; a weekly television series that featured three hours of live down-home entertainment every Saturday night on Los Angeles' KTTV-TV, the show was recorded on kinescope film for later rebroadcast (both at home and for American servicemen overseas), and this home-video release from Bear Family Records features highlights from the show's April 18, 1959, edition.
