Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This beautifully photographed film was one of five Ducat recipients at the 1970 Mannheim Film Festival. A man experiences the erotic pleasures of four woman in a metaphorical house of prostitution. After he has given all to the women, his emotional and physical attachments are ignored with callous indifference by the objects of his affections. He is reduced to being a prisoner of his own erotic desires. The film appeared at Mannheim after the intended opening at the Edinburgh Festival was cancelled after concerns about obscenity prompted censorship.
