Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Thirteen years after the cancellation of the British All in the Family precursor Till Death Do Us Part, the property was revived by creator Johnny Speight under the imaginative title Till Death.... Returning for the occasion were Warren Mitchell and Dandy Nichols as ultra-bigot Alf Garnett and his "old moo" of a wife Else. Now that Alf and Else were retired and had moved to Eastbourne, their misadventures were no longer the series' focal point. Instead, the emphasis shifted to a brace of stalwart supporting characters, Rita (Una Stubbs) and Michael Jr. (John Fowler), even though Mitchell and Nichols retained star billing. Telecast by ITV, the six-episode Till Death... was seen from May 22 to July 3, 1981.
