Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this children's drama, a seven-year-old Chinese boy makes friends with an old carriage driver. He becomes especially attached to the man's beloved horse. When the aged horse dies, the old one becomes deeply depressed and longs to join his old friend. The young boy convinces his family and friends to help him buy his friend a new horse. The film was shot in New York's Chinatown and in Central Park. The film contains some notable animated sequences.
