This video is part four in the 26-volume World at War series that chronicles the history of World War II. Originally appearing on television in 1974, the popular programs were hosted by Laurence Olivier. This volume features archival film footage of "Britain's finest hour," when the country beat back the German army in the Battle of Britain. The losses of life and property that the English people suffered were devastating, but the victory was theirs.
