Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this version of Bisson's popular melodrama, a philandering wife's affair ends when her lover is accidentally killed. Later her marriage busts up and she ends up on the street. She is then blackmailed until she shoots the extortionist. This leads her to court where she is unknowingly defended by her own son. In the end she dies.
