Synopsis by Mark Deming
Lisa Simpson (voice of Yeardley Smith) has been looking forward to seeing a special exhibit of rare Egyptian lore at the Springtonian Museum called "the Treasures of Isis," and her mother Marge (voice of Julie Kavner) promises to take her on the show's final day. However, Marge's plans change when Bart (voice of Nancy Cartwright) comes home with various items from "Yuk-ingham Palace," the neighborhood novelty shop, super-glued to his face and she has to take him to the doctor. While Marge insists Lisa must stay home, Lisa tricks her easily misled father Homer (voice of Dan Castellaneta) into giving his permission for her to take the bus to the museum. But Lisa misreads the schedule and ends up on the outskirts of Springfield, and she flies into a panic when she ends up in the city's Russian district. When Homer and Marge realize Lisa is lost, Homer leaps into action to find her, though his actions make a difficult situation all the more complicated. "Lost Our Lisa" was first aired on May 10, 1998.
