Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In her efforts to prove the innocence of a man who has spent six years behind bars on a murder charge, journalist Susan Alexander (Joan Van Ark) places her own life in danger. Hired as a reluctant bodyguard for Susan, Jim (James Garner) tries to find out the source of her trouble. The clues lead to a crooked medical examiner and an insurance fraud...not to mention a "murder victim" who wasn't really murdered six years ago--but who has been now.
