Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
With a title like The Rise and Fall of the World As Seen From a Sexual Position, hardcore pornography would be the expected content of the film. Instead, this is a sex spoof starring the generously endowed and, during her lifetime, very famous stripper Carol Doda. Also featured are the Cockettes, a gender-bending street-theater troupe. There is a lot of simulated sex, but no really hardcore stuff. The highlight of the film is a nude ballet to the tune of Ravel's Bolero.
