Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Igor Stravinski's neo-classic masterwork comes to the screen in a lavish 1995 production filmed both on location and in the studio and featuring English-language dialogue. American tenor Greg Fedderly stars as young innocent Tom Rakewell, whose soul is being fought for by devious elders Anne Trulove (Barbara Hendricks) and Nick Shadow (Håken Hagegård), and conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Radio Choir in performing Stravinski's richly textured compositions.
