Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Silent screen western star Tom Mix both produced and directed this early Selig one-reeler filmed on location in Las Vegas, Nevada. The simple story tells of a cowboy who finds a hidden gold mine. There is a girl (Victoria Forde) and a rival (Sid Jordan), but in the end the three are partners in the lucrative mine. Both Jordan and the blond Miss Forde (whom Mix later married) were members of the Mix stock company both at Selig and later at Fox.
