This documentary examines a 1944 election held in Venezuela to choose a beauty queen for the 7th Amateur Baseball World Series which was being held that year in Caracas. The country was in the midst of a major social and political change, and the two biggest competitors for the crown came from very different socioeconomic backgrounds, creating a public clash between the wealthy and the commoners that would define the country for years to come.
