This sobering documentary chronicles the rise of the Zapatista Movement - a revolutionary organization that responded to the extreme poverty in Mexico's Chapas region in 1994 by launching a movement that rejects the use of weapons, and instead seeks influence and change through information and communication. The program features documentary footage, as well as interviews with members of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, world policy experts, and ordinary citizens of the Chapas region.
