Synopsis by Jennifer Lackman

June (Lindsay Burdge), Annie (Jennifer Lafleur), and Isa (Aleksa Palladino) are three sisters returning to their late mother's lakeside home to settle her affairs. After discussing what to do with the property, they learn that the lake where their mother vanished has a mysterious history. No one has been able to find its bottom (despite efforts by multiple divers), and seven sisters disappeared into its waters several years ago. Events take an unexpected turn when a late-night attempt to conjure spirits leads to a series of strange occurrences, and the trio find themselves inexplicably drawn to the lake. The Midnight Swim is the feature debut of writer/director Sarah Adina Smith.
