Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Created by Michael Gilbert, the British cop series The Men From Room 13 dealt with a team of super-efficient Scotland Yard undercover agents. Heading the elite group was Superintendent Halcro, played first by John Welsh, then by Brian Wilde. The series' 50-minute episodes were beamed out by the BBC over a two-year period, from 1959 to 1961. Shortly after the cancellation of The Men From Room 13, the series' basic premise was revived as the even more popular weekly offering The Ghost Squad.
