Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Lou (Ed Asner) inadvertently reveals to Mary (Mary Richards) that he spent the night with Sue Ann (Betty White). Mary swears that she will keep the incident a secret, and Lou takes her at her word, banking upon her friendship. Alas, there's a run on the bank the moment Mary spills the beans to Murray (Gavin MacLeod). A marvelous study in fury and humiliation, "Once I Had a Secret Love" made its first network appearance on January 17, 1976.
