Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Alex Rocco guest stars as Ben Selwyn, an old army buddy of newsroom boss Lou Grant (Ed Asner). Remembering Ben's reputation as a womanizer, Lou nervously braces himself for his pal's visit. Sure enough, Ben reminds Lou that he owes him a big favor -- and in this instance, that "big favor" turns out to be arranging a date with Mary (Mary Tyler Moore). "Lou's Army Reunion" originally aired on January 15, 1977.
