The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle [TV Series] on AllMovie

This British black comedy series follows the on and off screen life of a fictional talk-show host named Vivienne Vyle. A former weather girl who's desperate for success, Vivienne snags a gig hosting her own talk-show, where the bleakest and funniest side of humanity is constantly held up for ridicule, harkening to the days of Jerry Springer and Ricky Lake. Vivienne also has an extremely devoted, extremely gay husband named Jared, and a bitchy transsexual manager named Miriam, along with a host of strange and hedonistic coworkers, who constantly vie with the guests on the show-within-the-show for pure, hilarious craziness.
