The Legends of Jazz contains a dozen "soundies" short performance films made for devices that were for all practical purposes the first video jukeboxes. This collection offers performances by at King Cole, Cab Calloway, Fats Waller, The Mills Brothers, and Count Basie Orchestra. Songs include "Honeysuckle Rose," "Hotcha Razzamatazz," and "Got a Penny Benny."
