In the mid-20th century, Rosina Lhevinne was one of the world's most talented pianists, winning competitions across the globe and establishing a style and technique all her own. Her career as a piano teacher was even more illustrious, her pupils including such luminaries as Van Cliburn and James Levine. Salome Ramras Arkatov's documentary charts Lhevinne's life from her birth in 19th century Russia to her death.
