synopsis
The Indomitable Teddy Roosevelt paints a vivid portrait of our 26th President. Backed by the stirring music of John Phillip Sousa, filmmaker Harrison Engle deftly blends newsreel footage with newly staged reenactments. George C. Scott narrates the "actuality" footage, while Bob Boyd effectively impersonates Roosevelt in the dramatized scenes. Originally intended for theatrical release, The Indomitable Teddy Roosevelt was given its biggest showing when it was picked up for telecast by the ABC network. The film has since become a "regular" on such cable services as A&E and the History Channel.
