The Wild Engine was episode 26 in the long-running The Hazards of Helen series of railroad two-reelers starring Helen Holmes and featuring such future genre stars as Leo Maloney and Hoot Gibson. The series was released by the Kalem Company between November 4, 1914 and February 26, 1917.
