synopsis
Augusta Palmer traces her own visit to see the celebrated musicians of Jajouka in Morocco, and uses it as a jumping off point to explain her difficult relationship with the music critic Robert Palmer, her father. His visit to that remote locale changed his life in the early '70s, and the daughter attempts to gain a better understanding of her dad by reenacting his pilgrimage.
