Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Grizzly and the Treasure is sometimes mistakenly referred to as a "Grizzly Adams" episode. In truth, it is a "four-waller" docudrama with a largely unknown cast. The story is set during the Klondike gold rush of the 1890s. The hero, nicknamed Grizzly because of his bearlike disposition, goes off on a one-man search for the precious yellow ore. After the Grizzly Adams TV series took hold in the late 1970s, Grizzly and the Treasure received an excess of TV play; gee, we wonder why?
