Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
An 11-year-old North Vietnamese girl lives through the horrors of the bombing of Hanoi (and its environs) and then searches for her family. In this movie, her experiences are chronicled, including her discovery of the deaths of her mother and sister and her search in Hanoi for her father, an army officer. Her pre-bombing life is shown with flashbacks as she lives through an anguish-filled and grisly few days.
