Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Jim Welch (Hayward Mack) loses heavily at a Western gambling joint, and in desperation, he carries off the pregnant wife of Brad Bascom (P. Dempsey Tabler). The two men come to blows at Welch's cabin, while the wife dies in childbirth. Bascom takes the baby, Rose, but always wonders about her paternity. The child grows up to be played by Margarita Fisher, and works as a lure in Bascom's New York gambling resort. She has brought several men to ruin and the latest, Paul Blossom (Evans Kirk), is getting there. A friend of Blossom's, Marshall Andrews (L.C. Shumway), persuades Rose to talk to Blossom's mother and save the young man. Welch shows up on the scene and proceeds to clean out Bascom. Rose goes up against him in an attempt to save Bascom's establishment, but all she is able to do is win five thousand dollars in turn for a pledge of marriage. She gives the money to Blossom, and when she is about to give herself to Welch, Bascom finally tries to put a halt to it all by asserting that she is Welch's daughter. Welch denies it and the two men start fighting it out. In the melee, Andrews rescues Rose and carries her away to a better life.
