The lush settings of this picture, based on a novel by the pseudonymous "Pan," didn't make up for a slight plotline. During their honeymoon in Monte Carlo, Anthony Bond (Jerome Patrick) and his new wife, the former Folly Vallance (Agnes Ayres), meet General Brent (Theodore Roberts), his wife (Helen Dunbar), and their daughter Patricia (Betty Francisco). Back home in London, they are neighbors, and Bond's pal, Keene Mordaunt (Milton Sills) courts Patricia. Mordaunt was also in love once with Folly, but Bond's money won out. Folly, however, has grown bored with her husband because he spends most of his time making said money and she decides to run off with Count Svensen (Edward Martindel). Mordaunt follows the couple and brings Folly back home. Bond discovers the two of them together and accuses Mordaunt of lusting after his wife. But Folly admits the truth, after which she and her husband reconcile.
