Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Prolific Hong Kong filmmaker Jon Hau directed this standard genre crime entry starring Lam Kar-tung as Mad Bull Jie, who is released from prison after doing a lengthy stretch for murdering his father when he caught him molesting his young sister Li (Carrie Ng). Soon after his release, Jie meets a pretty girl named Yi (Catherine Hung), who has come to Hong Kong from the United States for a vacation. While the new couple get to know each other and begin a relationship, Li, who has been almost catatonically introverted since the incident with her father, is being courted by Jie's friend, a doting romantic named Ming (Vincent Wan). Ming seems to have some success in getting Li to open up a little, but unfortunately he is also a triad gangster, and soon gets the order to execute a traitorous former associate (Wong Chi-yeung) whose testimony in court could bring down the organization. The expected betrayals and tragedies ensue, leading to a predictable conclusion. Pauline Chan co-stars.
