Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Canadian singer/actor Ed Evanko was firmly established as everybody's favorite guest star when he launched his own weekly, half-hour CBC variety series on June 24, 1967. Produced at the network's Winnipeg studios, the program was top-heavy with "local" celebrities, who performed their own specialties and dueted with Evanko. Also on hand was Bob McMullin in his orchestra. Broadcast on six successive Saturday evenings, The Ed Evanko Show was last seen on July 22, 1967.
