A farm horse wants to get out from behind the plow to join the Army, but is classified "44-F" when he flunks the physical. Crestfallen, the horse wanders into the middle of an Army training field where a loud "sham" battle is taking place. Once he gets an up-close-and-personal look at genuine warfare, our equestrian hero is more than happy to remain a civilian--and as a bonus, there's an important job awaiting him on the Home Front. Watch for a cameo appearance by Private Snafu, animated star of The Army-Navy Screen Magazine.
