This is an interesting little horror movie from the director of Freaks and Dracula. Lionel Barrymore escapes from Devil's Island and joins up with a mad scientist's nutty widow (Rafaela Ottiano) to shrink his enemies (three corrupt bankers who set him up) to the size of dolls. Most of the time Barrymore is dressed as an old woman speaking in a shrill, Monty Python-type voice, and the story gets a little repetitive after a while, but the effects are passable for the time and the subplots are interesting enough to keep you watching until the hokey ending.
