Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Director Richard Thorpe did his usual competent job in this otherwise routine silent Western featuring the tight-lipped Wally Wales. This time around, Wales plays a drifter who, having shot a man in self-defense, flees to Mexico. He falls for a young Mexican girl (Dolores Wolfe), the daughter of a cantina proprietor, who is about to marry a vicious "half-breed" against her will. Wales not only ruins the villain's wedding plans, but he is cleared of all charges back in the U.S. Veteran bad guy Richard Neill stole this film outright with his portrayal of the sneering bandit El Chino.
