Technology has enabled scientists to explore the depths of the sea in much greater detail, and the rich resources of minerals and other valuable substances can now be mined with some success. The Blue Revolution: Treasures of Neptune: Klondike on the Ocean Floor is an overview of the riches that man has found in the oceans, including oil and pearls. The program looks at the potential of the largely untapped ocean reserves.
