Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Eagle Productions was another of those exotically named independent studios that came and went in the early 1930s. Eagle's The Big Chance stars John Darrow as an aspiring boxer. Ignoring the advice of trainer Matthew Betz, Darrow falls among bad company. Faithful Merna Kennedy saves Darrow from such predators as vampish Natalie Morehead and slimy J. Carroll Naish. The Big Chance was reissued in the late 1930s to cash in on the popularity of Mickey Rooney, here cast as a hero-worshipping urchin.
