Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter

This film looks at the evidence of a conspiracy in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. It presents a compelling interview with Jim Garrison, former District Attorney of New Orleans, and one of the major proponents of the conspiracy theory. Much of the evidence that was used at the trial of Clay Shaw is reviewed here. Shaw was found innocent of the conspiracy charge; the jurors said they believed Clay and a number of others were involved in the assassination, but that Garrison had not proved it beyond a reasonable doubt. The film sheds light on those men and the forces that Garrison thought were involved in the murder.
