Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
Rock'n roll music is a main feature in this nostalgic Greek romance that focuses upon a members of the class of 1970. It is set in an Athens high-school and begins in 1969. Christos has come to Athens from a small town. His family moved to the city to provide him with a better education so that he can enter med school and become a doctor. His father therefore, insists that Christos be a serious student. Unfortunately, Christos is more interested in British and American pop music than he is in his studies. He is nicknamed Trogg. Because he knows so much about rock music, he is invited into the popular crowd led by Giorgos. Although Trogg disapproves of the way Giorgos treats his girlfriend Stella, he keeps quiet in order to fit in with Giorgos and Pericles who runs a small radio station. Other group members include the rebellious Yiannis, whose liberal father is in trouble with the government, and Nassos, a serious fan of James Bond. The film follows the group, their girlfriends, and family throughout its senior year. Much of the action is episodic. At one point Christos and Giorgos finally clash and go their separate ways.
