synopsis
In this Irish drama, circus performer Sweety Barrett loses his job swallowing objects and is hired by bootlegger Flick Hennessy to do odd jobs. The slow-witted Sweety meets Anne King and her six-year-old son Conor. After being framed by deranged police chief Mannix Bone, Anne's husband Leo plots revenge.
