Synopsis by Janiss Garza
When Sunset Sprague (Buck Jones) saves Calico Barnes (Edwin Booth Tilton) from a bandit, the two men become friends. Barnes is heading out to protect his niece, Rose Loring (Patsey DeForest), whose father was murdered right after his mine struck gold. Sprague goes to help and finds himself up against the villainous Mace Dennison (Henry J. Herbert). Dennison wants Rose's hand, along with her father's fortune, and is not thrilled that the girl has a growing affection for Sprague. As in nearly all Westerns, good, bad and indifferent, there's a brutal climax between hero and villain, and Sprague comes out victorious. He saves the girl and they are united.
